Hotel Accommodation

We have reserved rooms at fixed rates at several hotels, which conference participants should book themselves at the prices indicated below.

Please be sure to take note of the booking deadlines!

The hotels are not too far from the conference venue.
(GlaxoSmithKline is situated just 8 miles from Heathrow Airport).

It is advisable to make your own hotel booking as early as possible, as accommodation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Special service:

The offer of free of charge coach transfer is the advantage of staying at one of our conference hotels.

Coach transfer will be organized for you as follows:

30. October 2008:
Coach transfer directly from the conference venue to the conference dinner
30. October 2008:
Coach transfer directly from the conference dinner back to your hotel
31. October 2008:
Coach transfer directly from your hotel to the conference venue

To reserve your hotel accommodation please make use of the specially prepared booking forms (WORD format) - which can be downloaded from below the hotel information - and then forwarded to the hotel in question either by email or by telefax. These forms contain the group booking code you will need to quote and also indicate the room price and booking deadline. The hotels will only accept these written reservations.

For organisational reasons (coach hire etc.) we need to be able to monitor just how many guests will be staying at each hotel and this method will ensure we receive the information we require.
