About Enterprise for Health

Focus on a Corporate Culture Based on Partnership and Company Health Policy

The significance of a company health policy is growing from year to year. Enterprise for Health (EfH) was set up in 2000 to promote the exchange of information and experience among committed enterprises and to publicise examples of the success of a corporate culture based on partnership. Enterprises which feel particularly committed to the health and well-being of their employees will find the right forum here.

EfH was established jointly by the Bertelsmann Stiftung (Foundation) and the BKK Dachverband e.V. in Germany.

Since then the group of member enterprises has grown constantly. The members work together on the continued development of a corporate culture based on partnership and on an exemplary company health policy, based on this culture, both over and beyond the usual national boundaries and lines of business.

The exchange of experience and knowledge also benefits companies outside the network. EfH promotes the public discussion of issues which are of fundamental importance for the competitiveness of companies in Europe. Those companies which have so far gained little experience but have good intentions of developing a modern company health policy based on corporate culture in the spirit of partnership also profit from this.

EfH collates the results of its work relating to each subject and makes them available to the interested public in the form of practical recommendations.
